He received his undergraduate and masters degrees from Marshall University (Go Herd!).

While working on his masters, Brad worked in the athletic department in the Sports Information Department, as well as the student paper, The Parthenon, as a sports editor and managing editor.

While there, he won a Society of Professional Journalist award for editorial writing. He has also worked for SportingNews.com as a blogger for Marshall Thundering Herd athletics. Brad was born and raised in Winfield, West Virginia. While his first love is sports coverage, he enjoys working in online media and helping to deliver the news fast and as accurate as possible.
